Thor 2 In Thirty Sentences

Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet–one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

YAWN! — Break it down for us Candid Slice.

  1. Thor, muscled, handsome Norse god, moping for his earth girlfriend.
  2. Jane Foster, earth girlfriend, staying busy but moping for her god boyfriend, Thor.
  3. Odin, nagging his son Thor to act like a god, be king and marry beautiful Norse warrior.
  4. Loki, evil brother of Thor (who could be Star Treks’ Data’s son) mopes in prison.
  5. Thor mopes and visits brother, Loki.
  6. Jane Foster is infected by the aether, a dark force.
  7. Jane Foster ends up on Asgard.
  8. Malekith and his wicked aliens invade Asgard, looking for the aether.
  9. Lots of destruction, sword swinging, stabbing and soldiers dying.
  10. Frigga, Odin’s wife saves Jane.
  11. Loki mopes in prison some more.
  12. Thor looks gallant and makes a plan, disobeying his father.
  13. Loki in a cold, evil way agrees to plan that will save Jane and vanquish Malekith.
  14. Thor’s comrades, including beautiful Norse female fights, kicks butts and takes names!
  15. Loki is sarcastic and witty.
  16. Loki is a bad guy.
  17. Thor and Loki use Jane to lure Malekith out.
  18. Loki is a good guy.
  19. Malekith draws out the aether from Jane.
  20. Thor, Jane and Malekith and his ship end up in London. Their battle causes lots of destruction.
  21. Thor kicks Malekith’s alien butt, but is down for the count.
  22. Jane and assistants save the day by luck!
  23. Thor must return to his father to tie up loose ends.
  24. Thor abdicates to his father.
  25. Odin is happy.
  26. Loki is bad.
  27. Thor and girlfriend are happy.
  28. Assistants are happy.
  29. London’s people are not real happy with all the destruction but grateful for their lives.
